Day 90 - WOOOHOOOOOO!!!!
Wow...can't believe I made it...i feel like I'm writing my senior caption for the High School yearbook...'Thanks friends , WHAT A LONG STRAGE TRIP IT'S BEEN!!!!!'
Congrats to all my group-mates, again apologies for not being very active on the blogging, but I was there huffing & puffing in the background...I maxed out at 80kg, down from 95kg and feel really really good.
The best part was all the people that noticed along the way, it really kept my motivation up and desire to never get up to 95kg again. Will post final pictures tomorrow....

Day 81 - Wow, my Nose is HUGE...
wow...with my face so thin I'm realizing how big my nose is...before it was overshadowed by my fat face. Now all you see is a big schnozola....You know who I look like? ever see the Pink Panther cartoons...the guy who was alway after Pink, the short little guy whose whole head was a nose. That's me right now...one giant nose on my shoulders with a couple of eyes and a mouth....I like it!

Day 69 - It's been a while
Sorry everyone, I know it's been quite a while since I blogged. I'm still on the program and feeling good...even with the 20 aftershocks a day and contaminated water. Been reading your blogs as well and looks like everyone is going strong. 90 second planks....I'm not digging this at all. I can do 90 seconds on the first try, the last 3 I barely get to 60 seconds. I'm finding it's not that painful but my entire body starts shaking....
For all the egg whites we are having...I've gotten into the habit of drinking them raw with my milk...I don't even taste anything but my colleagues are calling me 'Rocky'. Is there any advantage to raw over cooked?

Day 56 - Hope All in Tokyo are OK!!!
We just had the strongest quake I've ever experienced in Tokyo....all the drawers on my desk were flung open and dumped on the floor....REALLY SCARY!!!!
Day 56 - All Integrity Lost
Don't know if you remember an earlier post of mine where I said during the lat pulldown that the only thing I could think of was the 'integrety of that door anchor'. Well, guess what? During the row's last night in FULL extenstion, the anchor came loose and pegged me right in the stomach. After writhing around in pain for 5 minutes I can see a large red welt on my stomach....oh man it still hurts...going from a lying down position to prone is brutal..

Day 55 - Ask Not What Your Body Can Do For You...
I used to struggle with the diet, was always hungry and craving. That's starting to go away. The one problem I have is when preparing my food at night for the next day. For example, last night while boiling my cache of pasta, somehow a fistfull of the pene magically jumped out of the bowl and flew into my mouth. I swear, it's not my fault!
Again, apologies for not being so active in the blogging universe...I'll try harder. After I come home, eat, bathe the kids, put them to bed, and exercise...it's 9:30pm. I have 30 minutes to chill. Anyway, I have been reading all of yours as much as possible and even though I can't respond to you all, I'm with you in spirit!!

Day 53 - I'm a Jump-Ropin' fool
Finally getting serious rhythm going and can go the 3 minutes without catching...UNLESS I think to myself 'hey, you're on a good run here'...then it's over. I'm swimming in my suits and have to tighten the belt to the point where the material is buckling in the front. Sort of a bittersweet moment as I feel great about the shape I'm in but I have to alter/buy new clothes now. I can literally take my pants off without unbuttoning.
BTW...I heard some really bad news. Richard has been cheating. Yeah, that's right...I said it. He's been posting pictures of his thin cousin in Malta(not Italy). Only like 10 people started that society so they all look alike.

Day 52 - Indulgence Day Past
I indulged on Saturday for our second indulgence day. I spent mine at a popular joint in Tokyo called Cafe 8, a Chinese place specializing in Peking Duck. Washed it down with some oolong tea/shochu drinks...it was good.

Stomach is GROWLIN....
sure cant' wait for my one egg white and apple for dinner in 2 two hours. Question: There's no way I'll be eating like this after the program so I'm concerned about falling right back into my old shape 3-4 months after. Is there parting 'advice' or instructions on how to maintain after we all graduate?
Day 46 - Jumping & Lunges
just a note...really like the time-based jumping. I always lost count before and it broke my concentration. Regarding the lunges are we supposed to alternate legs or do 20 on one leg, then 20 on the next?

Day 44 - Apologies for not blogging
For those who may have wondered...yes I am still in the program and doing well. Cold is mostly gone and in the groove. I've starving though...and I'm wondering why the protein portions were almost cut in half this week. I thought that protein intake was important for muscle rebuilding yet I was cut from two egg whites to one...the caloric intake of 1 egg white can't be that significant compared to the protein provided?
I must admit, I have cheated and bit into a piece of grilled chicken on occasion.

my upper thighs are KILLING me!!! I'm walking around the office like I've been on a horse for 3 days. I'm still sick!!! it's been like 30 days now....WTF!?!?!?!?

Day 38 - Back in the Saddle
Finally the cold has retreated and was able to resume exercise last night. I missed a total of 4 days so needless to say I'm in pain today. I made sure I kept to the diet while sick and even cut down on the fruit snacking. End result, my weight still went down but I'm weak and need to work a bit to catch up.

Day 34 - Ugh..
Glad to hear that most of you are feeling good with all this, I feel like absolute shit. I've been sick and cannot shake it. No energy, coughing, flem, fever....all of it. And today still no sign of it dissapating...I thought maybe I was pushing myself even when not feeling well by doing all the exercises so I took the last 2 days off....yes..I did. I don't feel great about doing so, but I don't know what else to do....I need to shake this dam cold and move the hell on!! I don't want to skip a 3rd day so most likely will push it tonight then go straight to bed. If you can't tell, it's really pissing me off!!!!

Day 33 - Weekly photos are up
down to 86.4 from 93 so the pounds are falling off. I've had this nasty cold for 3 weeks now that will not go away. Last night it peaked and I passed out as soon as I got home. I don't know if my body is going through a severe detox or maybe my immune system is not used to the cold strains here in Tokyo (I just moved back to Tokyo after being in Sydney for 3 years)

Day 28 - INDULGENCE DAY!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!
I did it...I indulged, and loved it!! I didn't go nuts, went to an I-talian joint here in Shibuya, pretty good. Stayed away from the cream/oil based sauces, and went for a modest portion of spaghetti bolognese. Felt good. No wine, which I usually over-indulge in when having pasta. It made me think that I can modify Mama-Gurreri's recipe a bit and crowbar it into the PCP regiment. Before you say, 'pasta with tomato sauce, that's it?' I had a couple of Strong Zero's (8% alcohol, only 60 calories). I can usually put them away, but I was smashed.
2 things I noticed.
1) I had some cheap cheese before I went to lunch...the pre-wrapped individual serving crap....the real-cheese stuf....anyway..the salt tatse was over-bearing and had to stop after 2 pieces.
2) The chu-hais tasted like liquid chemicals. I know that's what they are, but it was revolting this time around. My second drink I went for a homemade shochu mixed with oolong tea...much better.

Day 25 - Photos are up...feeling better than I look..
I feel great and then I look at the photos and realize there's still a long way to go. I'm down to 88, a total of 5 kilos down...80 here I come.
I was a fiend last night during the exercises, cranked old-school NY Hardcore(not porn, it's music) tore my self apart and totally sore today. I need a band with stronger resistance as I've wrapped them all I can.

Day 24 - Hungry...
I don't know about the rest of you but the current diet is leaving me hungry to the point where I'm counting minutes to the next time I can eat. I have to say I do not crave food outside the program, just more of the same food I'm eating now. Although my wife eating pizza in front of me was not fun.

Day 17 - One Belt size down, suit is a little loose, & getting some comments!
down to 89.3 from 93.5 so feeling pretty good. If I break below 89, it'll be my lowest point in 5 years. I hurt my knee snowboarding 3 weeks ago and the lunges last night did something. I'm wearing a brace with those sticky menthol pads. Jump-rope is not a problem, but extending my knee on it's own is. I may have to do the squats in place of lunges to avoid hurting it any more.
I'm starting to get comments around the office like 'Hey, are you working out or something?'....good motivation from outside the group.

Day 12 - Are we Supposed to be Gaining Weight?
I've been sticking to the diet very closely but have seen a slight rise in weight since the end of week one. Not alot but around 1/2 a kilo. Is this supposed to happen?

Day 10 - Feelin ok..
Been doing all the exercises and following the diet to a 'T', the main thing I'm psyched about is the exercise regiment. In the periods of my life where I was in shape I spent a lot of time at the gym, 2-2.5 hours a session in free-weights and was stubborn that free-weights was the only way to go. I did get great results fast but a successfull level of consistancy is finite..usually around the 5-6 month mark. Aside from the time factor, the thought itself of the preparation at home gathering clothes, traveling after work, disassembling the suit, showering there, etc etc. After 3 months the 'Ah Fuck it' factor shy-rockets...buddy calls you up for a beer, feeling a bit tired, you search for excuses not to go. My point being the gym based exercise plan is heavy...heavy on the thoughts and stressful. Patrick's program is convenient, but not easy...perfect combo.
I need to post pictures and I need to blog more..I promise I will...I haven't lost much weight yet (2K), but I look different.

Day 6 - Feeling Better
Thanks to all with your 'get well' wishes while I was sick. I'm feeling better now and psyched to keep going. The half-meal thing is working out ok although I have to admit sometimes it hovers around 60%...especially if there's meat involved....can't waste that. I think I need a new jump rope, I got one of those plastic ones and I can't keep a rhythm.
