Day 20: New Lat Pulldown Exercise...for the men out there...

I could not stop thinking about the integrity of that door anchor during this exercise.  I could just imagine it coming loose on the extension knocking my balls across the room...

  1. Hah ha ha ha.. that is hilarious. Ask Jason about being slapped in the face with his resistance bands.

  4. My 14 year old snapped a band a couple of days ago and really got hurt....it was an older band so maybe that contributed. I think he needed a higher resistance and put too much strain on the lower resistance band??

  5. I snapped my band. It split in two during the double Katansa exercise on day 45. You can read my blog entry about it here. http://thepeakconditionproject-seananderson.blogspot.com/2009/07/day-45-broken-katanas-and-thunder.html

  6. I am worried I will go flying across the room if the band snaps during standing ovations! All good wishes...

  7. Today's valuable lesson: do not anchor the bands on a sliding door with a mischievous 3 year old lurking on the other side of the door...

  8. If you don't snap a band at one point you just aren't trying hard enough

Why would you want to die without a few scars?

  10. Hey Marc,
My band came untied at one point and whipped me across my shoulder blades during standing ovations once. I had two nice welts to show for it. And today, doing the pull-downs, my door anchor snapped, though no injuries to report...fortunately, or unfortunately (I know you all wanted to have a laugh).
